Itinerary


Day 1 – Arrival and Introduction

Distance: ~325 km | Drive time: ~7–8 hours 

Activities:

  • Early breakfast at your lodge.

  • Depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area (scenic drive).

  • En route game drive and optional stop at Olduvai Gorge (prehistoric archaeological site).

  • Afternoon/evening game drive in Central Serengeti (Seronera) — excellent for big cats and abundant wildlife.

Meals:
🟢 Breakfast, Lunch (picnic), Dinner


Distance: ~145 km | Drive time: ~3–4 hours (game drive en route)

Activities:

  • Optional: Sunrise balloon safari over Serengeti (additional cost).

  • Morning game drive in Serengeti plains.

  • After lunch, depart toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

  • Optional Maasai village visit or short nature walk near the crater rim.

  • Evening relaxation with a view of the crater.

  • Meals:

Distance: ~175 km | Drive time: ~4–5 hours

Activities:

  • Early descent into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Half-day game drive in the crater floor — chance to see endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos.

  • Picnic lunch by the hippo pool.

  • Afternoon drive to Tarangire National Park.

  • Check-in at the lodge and sunset views over the baobab-studded landscape.

  • Meals:

Distance: Tarangire to Lake Manyara ~90 km (1.5 hr), then to Arusha ~120 km (2 hrs)

Activities:

  • Early morning game drive in Tarangire — known for elephant herds, ancient baobabs, and tree-climbing lions.

  • Mid-morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

  • Game drive in this compact but biodiverse park; watch for flamingos, monkeys, and hippos.

  • Afternoon return to Arusha.

  • Optional: Transfer to the airport for departure or overnight in Arusha (based on flight schedule).

  • Meals:
